Build

Add business knowledge

Index approved pages, documents and text for your agents.

Add sources

  1. Open Build → Knowledge base and select Add knowledge base.
  2. Give it a name and description.
  3. Select Add → Add web pages, Upload files or Add text.
  4. Name each source, then save.
  5. Select the saved base and inspect indexing progress in its index panel.
  6. In the agent editor, attach the base under Knowledge base, save and test.

Public web sources must use HTTPS. The crawler cannot index a private intranet or a page requiring your browser login. Use only material your clinic has approved for the agent.

File support

Uploads support UTF-8 TXT, MD, CSV and JSON, plus PDF and DOCX, up to 4 MB per file. PDF and DOCX processing depends on document extraction; inspect the resulting text before trusting it. A saved base is not proof that every source finished indexing.

For Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive or Notion, first create a customer-owned connection in Integrations, select permitted documents, and import them. Connecting an account does not automatically authorize every file or keep every source current.

Keep information useful

Prefer a small set of authoritative facts: hours, services, addresses, prices the agent may quote, appointment policies and escalation instructions. Remove contradictory or expired documents. Re-index changed content and confirm the source status before testing.

Ask the agent questions whose answers you know, then ask a question absent from the sources. It should use approved facts when available and offer a staff handoff when it cannot verify an answer. A knowledge base is not a live appointment database.
